Garuda Indonesia will start flights to Jakarta from Amsterdam in June 2010.

Flights to Jakarta from Amsterdam

The Flights to Jakarta from Amsterdam will connect the two capital cities with a daily operation.
Initially the Garuda flights to Jakarta will operate using an Airbus A330 aircraft but in 2011 the plan is to switch to brand new Boeing 777 aircraft as they are delivered in to the Garuda fleet.

Direct, non-stop Flights to Jakarta

Whilst operating on the Airbus A330 the Flights to Jakarta will fly via Dubai but once the new longer range Boeing 777 are available the flights to Jakarta will be operated direct and non-stop.

Historically Garuda Indonesia operated flights to Jakarta from Amsterdam but the flights stopped in October 2004 despite continuing strong trade links between the two countries.  It is anticipated that the new flights to Jakarta will  carry both business traffic destined for the rapidly growing commercial hub in capital city and  lesiure traffic bound for the Indonesian resorts, particularly the world class holiday destination of Bali.
