New Flight Booking Options
Alternative Airlines aims to offer the widest choice of airlines and routings - as well as price comparisons and flight bookings, all from a single website.
Now we can offer complex itineraries, including stopovers and open-jaw flights (returning from a different airport or city). Just click on the
Open Jaw or Stopovers link on the booking enquiry form to access our new Advanced Booking Engine.
Open Jaw Flights
Now you can book flights to one destination, and return from a second city without needing to make two separate bookings. Fly from London to Santiago de Chile, and return from Buenos Aires to London. Try booking flights from Copenhagen to San Francisco, returning from Los Angeles to Copenhagen.
"Double Open Jaw" flight bookings are also possible! How about Madrid to Bogota, returning from Quito to Barcelona? Certainly!
Stopover Routings
Make the most of an ultra long-haul flight by booking a stopover on the way, often at minimal or no extra cost. Now you can specify the exact routing you want, and the exact dates you want to travel on each sector. If you want to travel from London to Sydney, you can now choose to stopover in Bangkok for a few days on the outbound flights, and Hong Kong on the return flight. Use the "more legs" button on the advanced booking form to specify up to four individual flight segments.
